The Primary Purpose of my
cosmetology course is to train students in the basic manipulative
skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes
necessary to obtain licensure and for competency in entry-level
positions in cosmetology or a related field!

An entry level
cosmetologist provides a variety of services to meet the needs,
well being, and satisfaction of clients. |
- Active Listening - listening to
what other people are saying and asking questions as appropriate
- Writing - communicating effectively
with others
- Critical Thinking - using logic and
analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different
approaches
- Monitoring - assessing how well one
is doing when learning or doing something
- Service Orientation - actively
looking for ways to help people
- Identification of Key Causes -
identifying things that must be changed to achieve a goal
- Judgment and Decision Making -
weighing the relative costs and benefits of a potential action
