Syllabus for A+ Certification
Building and working on Computers
Students will learn about building computers and all the skills need to pass the A+ Certification Exam. This will give the students and edge needed in today’s world of technology. This A+ Certification will prepare our students for a real world employment position making more money than Bill Millers or other service positions.
This class will prepare students to take the CompTIA + Exams: 601 – Essentials of computer components, laptop and portable devices, operating systems, networks, security, and Safety & Environmental Issues. The 602: IT Technician Exam – covering computer components, laptop and portable devices, operating systems, networks, security, safety & environmental issues, and communication and professionalism.
The 603: Remote Support Technician Exam – Computer components, operating systems, scanners and printers, networks, security, communication and professionalism. The 604: Depot Technician – computer components, laptops and portable devices, security, and safety and environmental Issues.
Students will gain the appropriate skills and knowledge to prepare for these exams to get certified. This will allow these student to have an edge on other students graduating from High School in obtaining employment in a certified area and to continue using their knowledge in many areas such as business, home, and college.
