Grades:

To check your grades on-line you can visit http://www.mygradebook.com

Grades will be a direct representation of the student’s progress and mastery of the courses objectives.  All writing that is turned in for a grade will be graded using the TAKS Writing Rubric Scale.  The grade breakdown in the class will be as follows:

Daily Work = 10% (Individual class work, group work, & quizzes).

Home Work= 10% (Any independent study outside of class).

Journal = 10%

Major Assignments (5) = 40%

Tests = 10%

Final Cumulative Exam = 20%
