Grading:

Grades will be a direct representation of the student’s progress and mastery of the courses objectives.  All writing that is turned in for a grade will be graded using the TAKS Writing Rubric Scale.  The grade breakdown in the class will be as follows:

Daily Work = 40% (Individual class work, group work, & quizzes).

Major Assignments (5) = 20%

Tests = 20%

Final Cumulative Exam = 20%
