About Me!

Hello,

My name is Mr. Eric Miller.  I am a 3rd year teacher, but brand new to ACTCHS.  I am a recent transplant from Richmond, VA, and love my new home in San Antonio!  I am looking forward to working with each student and parent this year.

To let you know a bit about my qualifications - I am a Virginia Tech graduate with a dual major in English & Philosophy.  I am currently in the Region 20 TOPP program to attain my Texas teaching certificate.  I was teaching in Virginia on a provisional license for two years at the elementary level, but decided to make a move to secondary education, and I am loving it!

I have a passion for writing and teaching and hope to develop many great writers in this upcoming year.  I know our classes will create wonderful products as the year moves on.  I hope to inspire each student to find their own ways of self-expression through writing and gain skills that will serve them in whatever career path they pursue.
