The Learning Center is designed to support all special
education students in their academics. We provide a positive and quiet
place for learning.
- Content Mastery Center- The CMC supports
student's success by offering a variety of instructional
methods. For example, small group administration,
direct/intensive instruction, graphic organizers, math
manipulatives, and many more.
- Response to Intervention- All special
education students are mainstreamed into the general
education classes. To assess how students are performing in
their classes, our RtI methods includes observations,
teacher-student consultation, parent contact, and progress
reports. We are committed to being proactive in keeping
parents informed and students on track.
- Individual Education Plan/Behavior Improvement Plan-All
ACT faculty follow and implement all requirements that are
listed in the IEP and/or BIP as determined by the ARD
committee.
